Shipping and Returns Policy (LEDownia.pl)

1) Shipping

1.1. Delivery area

The online store www.ledownia.pl delivers to: {Poland / the EU / selected countries}. The availability of shipping methods may depend on the product dimensions, parcel weight, and delivery address.

1.2. Shipping methods

Delivery is carried out via: {courier / parcel lockers / pick-up points}. Current shipping methods and costs are displayed in the cart before placing the order.

1.3. Order processing time

  • The order is accepted for processing after the payment is credited (in the case of prepayment) or after the order is placed (in the case of cash on delivery / deferred payments—if available).

  • Dispatch time: usually {1–2 business days} for products marked as available, unless the product description states otherwise.

  • Made-to-order / non-standard products (e.g., configurations, cutting to size, personalization) may have a longer processing time indicated in the product description or agreed individually.

1.4. Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically in the cart and depend on the selected method, parcel dimensions, and delivery location.

1.5. Shipment tracking

After dispatch, the Buyer will receive an e-mail with the tracking number (if the carrier provides tracking).

1.6. Parcel receipt and damage report

We recommend checking the condition of the parcel in the presence of the courier or immediately after collection from a locker/pick-up point:

  • If the packaging is damaged or the contents raise concerns, we recommend preparing a damage report and contacting the Seller without delay.

  • The absence of a damage report does not deprive the Buyer of their rights, but it may complicate and prolong the complaint process with the carrier.

1.7. Uncollected parcel / incorrect address

If a parcel is not collected or an incorrect/incomplete address is provided, the Seller may charge the Buyer for the costs of re-shipping or returning the parcel to the Seller, in accordance with the carrier’s price list.

1.8. Split shipments

An order may be shipped in more than one parcel (e.g., due to size or order picking). The Buyer does not incur additional costs unless this results from the Buyer’s specific request.

2) Returns (withdrawal from the contract) – consumer purchases

2.1. Right of withdrawal

A consumer (and also a business customer with consumer rights, where applicable) has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.

2.2. Deadline and method of submitting the statement

The 14-day period is counted from the day the Buyer takes possession of the goods (or the last item in the case of partial deliveries).
To exercise the right of withdrawal, a clear statement must be sent:

You may use the template at the end of this section.

2.3. Returning the goods

  • The goods should be returned to parcel locker GDA55N, Gdańsk, ul. Lenartowicza 24 (phone no. 533-323-787) no later than 14 days from the date of submitting the withdrawal statement.

  • We recommend packaging the products securely (especially power supplies, controllers, and ESD-sensitive components).

  • As a rule, the cost of returning the goods in the event of withdrawal from the contract is borne by the Buyer, unless the Seller explicitly states otherwise.

2.4. Refunds

The Seller will refund the payment no later than 14 days from the date of receiving the returned goods.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Buyer, unless agreed otherwise.

2.5. Liability for diminished value

The Buyer is responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from use beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the product (e.g., installation, cutting to size, permanent soiling, mechanical damage, soldering marks).

2.6. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may not apply in particular to:

  • non-prefabricated products manufactured to the Buyer’s specifications or intended to meet the Buyer’s individualized needs (e.g., LED strips cut to size, profiles cut to size, configured/personalized products, made-to-order items).

3) Complaints (non-conformity with the contract / statutory warranty) and warranties

3.1. Basis and scope

If a defect is found or the goods are non-conforming with the contract, the Buyer may file a complaint in accordance with applicable law and the store’s Terms and Conditions. Independently of this, some products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.

3.2. How to file a complaint

Complaints should be submitted to: {bok@ledownia.pl} and should include:

  • the order number,

  • a description of the issue,

  • photos/videos documenting the defect (if possible),

  • the expected method of resolution (repair, replacement, price reduction, withdrawal—depending on the legal basis).

3.3. Returning the product as part of a complaint

If returning the product is necessary to process the complaint, the Seller will provide shipping instructions and a return address. We recommend enclosing a description of the defect and contact details.

3.4. Timeframes

The Seller will respond to the complaint within the timeframes required by law. In cases requiring additional diagnostics, the timeframe may be extended and the Buyer will be informed.
